White, Snowy World at Genting Highlands

07:00:00

Snow is rare in Malaysia. In fact, if you see any signs of a snowfall in Malaysia, it's probably made out of foam. Or maybe you've just gone crazy and should probably get yourself checked into a hospital. But the possibility of a you ever seeing snow in Malaysia is close to nil.

Fret not though! You don't have to fly all the way to countries in which your friends are Instagramming or tweeting about the layers and layers of snow. You can now just drive up to Genting Highlands and experience snow for yourself. I'm not kidding you. I was at the launch of the newly refurbished SnowWorld in Genting Highlands about 2 weeks back, so you know that I'm absolutely serious.

In fact, I'll share this adventure with you. Just keep scrolling down to see what me and my brother, John Morgenstern, as well as a lot of other bloggers were up to 2 weeks ago at SnowWorld.

After 2 layers of winter jackets, boots and gloves,

A little while later...

 Oh yes he does.

After lunch, the good people at Genting also gave us full day passes to visit the theme park. I hadn't been there in a very long time and the kid in me just surfaced. Me and John Morgenstern hung out with Hilda (http://jellybeanscollector.blogspot.com/) and Joeann (http://joeanney-jc.blogspot.com/), who were also apparently very keen on theme parks instead of whittling their money away at the casinos. Since my camera is of the sucky quality, I didn't get a picture with them. They, however, hold my face at ransom in their camera, so if you're reading this, Hilda and Joeann, COUGH UP THE PICTURE!

SnowWorld is located at Level T2A of First World Plaza. Tickets are priced at RM30.00 for adults and RM25.00 for children and senior citizens. This price is inclusive of everything that can and will protect you from the cold, like the jackets, gloves and boots. And if you're a Genting WorldCard or a Rewards Card Member, you will also get to enjoy an additional RM 3.00 discount. How's that for a cool treat?

So for the snow that all Malaysians love and crave for, head to SnowWorld and experience a world of cold. Believe me, I've experienced it.

Cheerios!
