People always say that the second year of any relationship is the year where the honeymoon ends. It's where things get real; tempers flare up and arguments abound. But two years later today. here we are, still feeling like that rainy January night two years ago. 

We've been together for 2 years already. Wow. You always ask me;

"Why do I still like you so much?"
It's a question I've answered many times before, but I'll do it one more time in writing.

"It's because I am awesome."
But in all seriousness, thank you for being there with me throughout everything; the good, the bad, and the ugly me when I wake up in the morning with unkempt hair and unbrushed teeth.

Thank you for being there for me when I'm facing things that are beyond me, holding my hand and showing me that we can always handle the problem when we're together.


Thank you for inheriting my sense of humor. It's one thing to make lame jokes that nobody gets, but I appreciate your efforts to smother our friends with our lame jokes and oh-so tasteful puns together as a tag team of bad jokers.


Thank you for your patience in the moments when I lose mine. I know I am not the most patient of people but your persistence and patience in keeping me from blowing my top is undoubtedly one of the most important things in my life now.


Thank you for sharing everything with me. That's the reason why I gained 10KGs throughout the two years I've been together with you. Thank you especially for giving me a potbelly to keep me warm in the cold days.


But most of all, thank you for loving me with all your heart. Thank you for being there for me through the bumps in life's crossroads, and supporting me in my endeavors, and indulging in my hobbies and my silliness. Our friends tell me the same thing over and over again; "only Yuen Teng can handle you.", and I'm obliged to agree with them.


Thank you for being you. Without "U", there won't be "Us".
